The Destination:In 2009, ISSFC took 19 potential professional soccer players and toured the beautiful country of Croatia for an opportunity of a lifetime. The team was made up of former and current college soccer players, soccer players that had the skills but were undiscovered, and soccer players that were looking for that right connection to put them in front of a European club.
Croatia's pleasures are more timeless than trendy. Along its 1778km coastline, a glistening sea winds around rocky coves, lapping at pine-fringed beaches. Istrian ports bustle with fishermen while children dive into the sparkling water. In Dalmatia, cities throb with nightlife amid ancient Roman ruins.

Along the way, six soccer players were offered trials with 2 players, Anthony Burrola and Patrick Barton, receiving contracts in Europe. The International Soccer team battled two professional teams that play in the Champions League and the Europa Cup, playing Rijeka in Croatia's national team traing ground.
